How this works
The calculator looks up the official 2026 BAH rates for both duty stations using your pay grade and dependent status, then reports the difference. Rates come from the DoD Defense Travel Management Office (DTMO) and cover 338 military housing areas across the CONUS, Alaska, and Hawaii. BAH is location-based and updated annually.
